Paul C. Jorgensen

Paul C. Jorgensen is a Washington D.C. attorney who frequently speaks on intellectual property, contract drafting and negotiating, Internet issues, legal writing and professional transitions. In 2006, Mr. Jorgensen founded The Jorgensen Law Firm PLLC, which provides its clients with counsel in trademarks, copyrights, domain names, licensing and contracts, e-commerce, and the arts. His 25-year legal career includes serving as Senior Intellectual Property and Contract Counsel at Patton Boggs LLP, Senior Intellectual Property Counsel at Choice Hotels International, Inc., and an associate in securities, contracts, franchising and intellectual property at Venable, Baetjer, Howard & Civiletti. A graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center in 1988, Mr. Jorgensen also provides pro bono legal counsel to The National Cherry Blossom Festival and the District of Columbia Commission on the Arts and Humanities, the latter of which recognized Mr. Jorgensen for his outstanding service to the arts with the Mayor’s Arts Award in 2012.
