Paul Ferak is a litigation shareholder in the Chicago office of Greenberg Traurig, LLP and a member of the firms Business Disputes Litigation Practice Group. Paul focuses his practice on complex business litigation with an emphasis on purchase price, working capital, earnout, and other post-acquisition disputes. His national practice handling post-acquisition disputes includes the representation of a variety of clients, including private equity firms and other companies covering a wide range of industries. Paul has litigated post-acquisition disputes before trial and appellate courts across the country, recently taking a case arising out of breaches of representations and warranties to trial in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He also regularly handles arbitrations before the American Arbitration Association, JAMS, CPR Institute for Dispute Resolution, and different national accounting firms. U sing his experience addressing and litigating a host of post-acquisition dispute issues, Paul also works closely with Greenberg Traurigs Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group, providing strategic pre-transaction counseling on issues that the firms public and private company clients may face in connection with their anticipated transactions.
