Paul A. Burmeister

Paul Burmeister is Chief Financial Officer of Align Aerospace, one of the largest distributors and supply chain managers for the aerospace and defense hardware market -- a real nuts-and-bolts business. He managed the carve-out of this business from a large public company on behalf of a private equity firm. Previously, Burmeister was a Parter with Tatum, where he served in a variety of senior operating and financial roles in support of M&A transactions as well as restructurings. Among other engagements, he led a major plastics manufacturing equipment manufacturer (Gloucester Engineering) through a successful Ch. 11 restructuring, integrated Microsoft's fourth-largest acquisition (Oslo-based FAST Search & Transfer), and engineered a successful operational restructuring of a $200 million apparel retailer. Prior to joining Tatum, Burmeister was Corporate Controller of Fidelity Investments and served as a divisional CFO at both Fidelity and The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation. Burmeister holds a BS in Engineering and an MBA, both from Cornell University. He is an avid runner and vintage sports car enthusiast. Burmeister and his wife Gail recently relocated from the Boston area to Los Angeles.
