Systems accountant / Subject Matter Expert with over a decade of experience in financial system implementation, conversion, analysis, operations & maintenance, and post-implementation support. Experienced in numerous software systems, from large ERPs to smaller systems. Have led financial audits of non-profits, as well as worked on reviews of non-profits. Serve as a Treasurer for a non-profit entity. CPA, CGFM, CGMA; B.S. in Commerce from UVA and MBA from University of Maryland. Currently, Systems Accountant at Department of State. Have served in Systems / Accountant roles at other federal agencies, including the Coast Guard. Also, worked as a Senior Consultant for CGI (AMS) and an auditor for Arthur Andersen. Currently also teach CPA Review for Becker and and a Adjunct Associate Professor at UVA; previously taught at UVA.
