Neri is a partner in EY’s Assurance practice in New York. He advises clients on addressing the impact of accounting, financial reporting, corporate disclosures and regulatory changes. He is also a global client service partner at EY for two large multinational companies. Neri has over 20 years of accounting and financial reporting experience as well as risk, operations, credit, governance and regulatory implementation experience.

Previously, Neri was an Executive Managing Director at Standard and Poor’s where he served as the firm's Chief Quality Officer, Chief Risk Officer and Chief Accountant. He was a member of S&P’s Executive Committee and its Analytical Policy Board and chaired its Policy Governance Committee. Neri managed the Global Accounting and the Corporate Governance Research Groups supporting the firm’s analysts. He joined S&P in 2002 as its Chief Accountant after serving in EY’s Professional Accounting Practice.

Neri has served as a member of FASB’s Advisory Council (FASAC), the PCAOB’s Standing Advisory Group, the Accounting Standards Executive Committee of the AICPA, the International Accounting Standards Board’s (IASB) Advisory Committee and the IASB's Capital Markets Advisory Committee and as a chair of the FASB’s Investors Advisory Committee. He also served on the joint IASB/FASB Lease Accounting and the FASB’s Disclosure Framework and Liability & Equity Advisory Groups and has authored numerous publications on financial analysis and the analytical implications of financial reporting.

Neri was awarded the McGraw-Hill Companies Excellence in Leadership Award and was a Next Generation Fellow of The American Assembly. He is a trustee of the Committee for Economic Development, a member of the Board of the Abraham Joshua Heschel School of New York and is a member of the Economic Club of New York.

Neri is a CPA licensed in New York and California. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Economics from Tel Aviv University, an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Business and a Master’s in Taxation from the USC Marshall School of Business. He is an adjunct professor at the NYU Stern School of Business.
