Nancy Wishmeyer CPA

Nancy Wishmeyer, CPA, has worked for the City of Aurora, Colorado since 1993. Before coming to the City, she was an auditor at Deloitte and Touche. Nancy has held a variety of positions at the City including Senior Accountant and Chief Accountant. She was recently promoted to the Controller position where she manages the centralized accounting and financial reporting function, payroll, accounts payable and cashiering. Nancy manages the audit process for the city, oversees grant management and compliance, monitors the financial accounting system, and implements best practices, process improvements, and financial policies.
Nancy serves on the Board of Directors for the City’s 457 Deferred Compensation Plan.
Nancy has a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business from Iowa State University and a Master’s in Accounting from the University of Colorado Boulder.
