Morgan Aronson has been in Federal service for 11 years, all with the U.S. Department of the Interior, Office of Inspector General. For the last 8 years, Morgan has been Interior's National Single Audit Coordinator, where her primary objective is to improve the quality of single audits with an oversight program of quality control reviews and technical assistance and outreach with grantees, auditors, fellow Interior OIG professionals, Interior bureaus, and other Federal agencies.
Tribal financial assistance and auditing is a special area of interest for Morgan and she often assists the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) with interpreting and applying Federal laws and regulations to the unique environment of tribal accounting and auditing.
Morgan is a CPA and CGFM, and a member of the AICPA and Virginia Society of CPAs. Morgan currently serves on the AICPA Technical Standards Subcommittee of the Professional Ethics Executive Committee. Morgan holds both a BS and MS in accounting from Washington University in St. Louis. In her spare time, Morgan loves to travel, especially to Las Vegas.
