Senior Manager in the Valuation & Business Modeling practice of EY’s Transaction Advisory Services Professional experience and clients Mike has more than 15 years of experience in performing valuations and model build/validation exercises for large scale transactions and decision support purposes. These valuations have been used by clients to support allocations of purchase price in corporate mergers and acquisitions (for both accounting and tax purposes), estate and gift tax filings and planning, and corporate planning and internal restructuring experience in the valuation of business enterprises, equity and debt interests, and various intangible assets associated with businesses. Prior to joining Ernst & Young in 2005, Mike was an Associate with Columbia Financial Advisors, Inc., where he provided Employee Stock Ownership Plan and tax-related financial advisory and valuation services, including gift and estate tax valuations. Throughout his career, Mike has served clients across a broad base of industries, including aerospace and defense, real estate, commercial and industrial products, healthcare and life sciences, oil and gas, financial services, telecommunications and technology, basic manufacturing, retailing, and others. Mike’s experience in the valuation of businesses and intangible assets is broad in nature and includes trademarks and trade names, customer / supplier relationships, favorable/unfavorable supply contracts, patents and know-how, sponsorship agreements, assembled workforces, covenants not-to-compete, and computer software.
