Michelle R. Koroghlanian is a Technical Manager – Taxation at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In this role, she currently serves as staff liaison to various volunteer panels in developing AICPA tax policy positions, shaping and communicating the Institute’s initiatives in tax matters, and providing tax products and services for members in the areas of Tax Methods and Periods and Exempt Organizations. She previously served as staff liaison for Corporations and Shareholders and International Taxation. Michelle has presented at various trainings and events for TEI, FEI, state societies and firms. She has been quoted in tax and national publications, including the Wall Street Journal, Tax Notes Today, BNA Daily Developments, CCH, Thompson-Reuters, and others. Michelle has more than 20 years of public accounting experience, and specialized in tax inventory and other methods and periods issues while working i n the National Tax Office of a Big 4 firm.
