Michael Widgren

As Visteon's vice president, corporate controller and chief accounting officer, Mike Widgren is responsible for the company's global accounting policies and related application, external reporting requirements including U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filings, internal control compliance matters including Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 reporting, and the company's financial shared service operations. Widgren joined Visteon in 2005 as assistant corporate controller and is an elected corporate officer.

Prior to joining Visteon, Widgren served as chief accounting officer for Federal-Mogul Corp., where he held various financial management positions during his seven-year tenure. Prior to Federal-Mogul, Widgren worked for Coopers & Lybrand, LLP in Detroit as an audit manager for large, publicly traded manufacturing clients.

Widgren earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's degree in business administration from Michigan State University. He is a certified public accountant in the state of Michigan and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the Financial Executives Institute. Widgren also serves as a member of the External Advisory Board for the Michigan State University Department of Accounting and Information Systems.
