Michael Wallace is an accomplished financial leader who understands the complexities of the business marketplace, regulatory environment and integrates all facets with the people behind the business – with a proven ability to effectively manage the finance function in a rapidly growing and changing environment, complete and integrate multiple acquisitions, manage public and private investor bases, raise capital, and develop and implement strategies for improving revenue and profitability. Mr. Wallace has been Chief Financial Officer of Spok Holdings (NASDAQ: SPOK) since March 2017. Spok delivers clinical information to care teams when and where it matters most to improve patient outcomes. Prior to Spok, Mr. Wallace was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Intermedix since August 2013. Intermedix, a privately-held company owned by Thomas H. Lee Partners and recently purchased by R1, is a global provider of technology-enabled professional services to health care providers, government agencies and corporations. Mr. Wallace has spent more than 20 years as a financial executive at both public and private companies. Prior to joining Intermedix, Mr. Wallace was the Executive/Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of several private companies in a variety of industries, including medical diagnostic services, software development, and digital/interactive marketing. During the years 2003 and 2004, Mr. Wallace was appointed as an Assistant Chief Accountant in the Securities and Exchange Commission's Division of Enforcement and member of the Commission’s Financial Fraud Task Force in Washington D.C. From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Wallace was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Kellstrom Industries Inc., then a publicly traded company on the NASDAQ, operating in the aerospace services sector. Following graduation from the University of Notre Dame, Mr. Wallace began his career at KPMG LLP in the Firm's assurance practice, ultimately leaving the Firm as a Manager, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
