Michael Thatcher leads Charity Navigator, increasing impactful philanthropy through advanced evaluation methods, broader charity ratings coverage, and expanding access to information for donors. Prior to joining Charity Navigator, Michael spent over 15 years with Microsoft, 10 of which were spent as their Public-Sector Chief Technology Officer responsible for technology policy initiatives and engagements with governments and academic leaders in Asia, the Middle-East and Africa. He has held various board positions within the nonprofit and tech sector and holds several patents in enterprise systems management.
