Michael Keehlwetter

Mike is an audit partner in KPMG’s Department of Professional Practice in New York where he focuses on accounting and reporting matters related to financial assets, consolidation, debt and equity, and derivatives and hedging. He is a former Professional Accounting Fellow in the Office of the Chief Accountant at the SEC. While at the SEC, Mike consulted with registrants on accounting and reporting matters and participated in the development of the SEC’s and other standard setting bodies’ rule proposals. Mike began his career with KPMG in Pittsburgh where he provided professional audit services to public companies in the financial services industry.
