Michael Boutte CIA, CGAP, CRMA

Michael Boutte is a manager with the Performance Audit Services section of the Louisiana Legislative Auditor’s office. He has over nine years of performance audit experience. His primary assignments include audits dealing with the Board of Regents, Department of Education, Department of Revenue, and Louisiana Economic Development. Michael also manages the projects of the office's data analytics unit.

Michael has a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology with a concentration in criminology and a minor in African and African-American studies from Louisiana State University. He also has a Master of Arts degree in sociology with an emphasis on demography and demographic methods, labor and employment, and statistics from Louisiana State University. He is currently working on a Master of Science degree in predictive analytics at Northwestern University. Michael is a Certified Internal Auditor, a Certified Government Auditing Professional and has a Certification in Risk Management Assurance.
