Meghan Howard is an attorney in Branch 3, Office of Chief Counsel (Passthroughs & Special Industries). Ms. Howard primarily works on issues involving grantor trusts, S corporations and partnerships. Prior to joining the Office of Chief Counsel in 2007, Ms. Howard worked in private practice in Syracuse, New York. She received her B.A. from Hamilton College in 1999 and her J.D. from Albany Law School in 2002, magna cum laude. Ms. Howard also received her LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida in 2006. Ms. Howard was a member of both the Albany Law Review and the Florida Tax Review.
