Matthew J. Wescott ASA

Matt is a partner with Plante Moran’s Forensic & Valuation Services practice with over 20 years of professional experience. He specializes in business and intangible asset valuation services related to a wide variety of purposes including financial reporting, healthcare compliance, management planning, purchase and sale advisement, estate/gift tax reporting, and tax reorganizations, among others.    

Matt leads Plante Moran’s healthcare valuation practice and is a member of the firm’s Healthcare Private Equity Practice team. His healthcare experience includes valuation and consulting engagements involving ambulatory surgery centers, home health entities, hospitals/health systems, imaging centers, medical technology, physician practices, and senior care facilities. Matt has also worked in a variety of other industries including agriculture, automotive, construction, distribution, manufacturing, real estate, recycling, retail, service, and transportation.      

Matt’s experience includes deposition testimony regarding business valuation issues, and he has given numerous presentations on a variety of business valuation topics. He has a B.A. in finance from Michigan State University.
