Matthew D. Spohn J.D.

Matthew Spohn is Senior Counsel at the Denver office of Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. Matt focuses on commercial and intellectual property litigation with a special emphasis on complex and high-stakes cases. He has been involved in the representation of entities in a wide range of industries. He has represented major financial institutions in sorting out mortgage-related liabilities, and been involved in multi-million dollar product liability lawsuits, trade secret and unfair competition cases, corporate divorce suits, bank fraud claims and qui tam matters. Matt has also been involved in litigation surrounding medical devices, nanotechnology, RFID technology, and computer software. He has represented clients in state and federal courts across the country. Matt obtained his J.D. with high distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law, and clerked for Colorado Supreme Court Justice Nancy Rice. Colorado Super Lawyers has named him a "Rising Star" each year since 2010. He is licensed to practice law in Minnesota, Colorado, California and New York, and admitted to practice before more than a dozen federal district and appellate courts across the country.
