Based in Chicago, Matt Petrich is the Tableau Subject Matter Expert for both Audit and Legal World-Wide.
With over 25 years of professional experience, Matt specializes in data mining/business analytics and data visualization. He has worked with various retailers, manufacturers, healthcare organizations, banks, wealth management firms, and securities trading organizations, all of which had needs for fraud detection, data analytics, data visualization, predictive analytics and various technology strategy, selection and implementation projects.
Matt designed and managed the initial IT infrastructure build-out for the data analytics work for the largest securities fraud matter in U.S. history. He has extensive Information System experience having worked as a systems analyst and computer programmer within the IT department of a major corporation. He was also an in-house lawyer there for over five years working with the litigation, real estate, contracts and intellectual property groups.
Matt has co-authored a book on data analytics and data visualization for internal audit which is currently on the IIA best-seller list.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Computer Science from Illinois State University and a Juris Doctorate from DePaul University.
