Martin Kenney

Chairman, Prism Technology Holdings, LLC

Martin E. Kenney has amassed a forty year career in senior management of nationally renowned companies in public and privately held media and technology companies. Currently the Chairman of Prism Technology Holdings ,LLC, an investment and management consulting firm, he had led the way in growing ,acquiring and managing diverse companies that became leaders in businesses ranging from publishing, software development, assessment and broadcast media. Prior to his current position he was President and CEO of WRC Media, a leading group of companies in multiple media in the education and training markets. Concurrently, he founded and was Chairman of Prism e Solutions, an innovative project management software development and consulting company. He served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Viacom’s Simon & Schuster Educational Publishing, at the time the largest educational and learning company worldwide. While at Viacom he also was a member of the original business team that launched Noggin (now Nick,Jr.) for the Nickelodeon Network. Before joining Viacom, he served in executive positions with News Corp.’s J.B. Lippincott and The Institute for Scientific Information. Mr. Kenney was also a Senior Vice President for Mc Graw Hill where he was the President of College Publishing and founded the Technology Group. Prior to that assignment, he was a Vice President of CBS Publishing. In all, his duties allowed him to build, acquire and divest properties to build strong businesses in challenging and changing environments. He was a board member of Commonwealth Bank and is on the business advisory board of the Bethesda Project, a nonprofit entity focused on caring for the homeless poor in Philadelphia. He resides with his family in Malvern, Pennsylvania.
