Mark Randall is the Regional Director of GRS' Southwest Region and the Executive Vice President of Gabriel, Roeder, Smith & Company. Mark has more than 30 years of actuarial and employee benefits consulting experience with an emphasis on public pension retirement systems. Mark has served clients in Colorado, California, Florida, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Washington, and Texas. He is located in GRS' Dallas, Texas office.As Regional Director, Mark manages the Southwest Region which includes GRS' Dallas and Denver offices.

He has responsibility for:

  • Client satisfaction
  • Actuaries and Consultants
  • Overall operations

Mark serves as the lead consultant or peer review actuary for numerous large municipal plans and statewide retirement systems. As an actuary and consultant, Mark prepares:

  • Actuarial valuations
  • Analyses of benefit and cost proposals
  • Experience analyses
  • Asset-liability modeling
  • Actuarial audits

Mark also has experience in all aspects of employee benefits consulting, including plan design, implementation, financing, qualification issues, employee communication, and strategic analysis.
