Mark I. Harrison, CPA, ABV, CFF, Esq. Mark I. Harrison is the Managing Partner of Meyers, Harrison & Pia, LLC, a business valuation and litigation assistance firm with offices in Connecticut, New York and Maine Mark’s very distinguished, 30 year plus career includes expertise in the most complex valuation engagements. He has performed valuations of business interests for a variety of purposes including, but not limited to, family law matters, business damages, buy-sell agreements, shareholder litigation, estate and gift tax matters, buying and selling businesses, malpractice litigation, and breach of contract. Mark graduated from Bucknell University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. In 1982, he became a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He went on to graduate with a Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law and became a member of the Connecticut Bar in 1991. Mark is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mark has been recognized as an expert witness and testified in numerous state and federal courts on business valuation and forensic accounting issues. He is frequently appointed as a neutral expert by courts and as a mutually agreed upon expert by parties to litigation. He is regularly called upon to assist in settling complex financial disputes. He has been an instructor in business valuation and forensic accounting techniques on a national and local level for numerous professional and academic organizations. He has assisted in the creation and writing of various seminars and has been a consultant to 60 Minutes on business valuation and forensic accounting issues.
