As Vice President/Deputy Chief People Officer, Margaret is responsible for the People strategy and execution for Aon’s Shared Services, including Aon Business Services (ABS), Finance, Legal, MarComm and People functions.
Margaret joined the firm in 2000 and has held several leadership positions within the People Organization. Previously, she was VP/People for Aon Shared Services. Prior to that, she was VP/People for ABS and partnered closely with the ABS leadership team to establish Aon’s global business services strategy and service center footprint. She also served as Global Head of Talent Development, responsible for the development and execution of Aon’s strategy for growing colleagues’ skills, experience, and career opportunities in a globally consistent way.
Margaret has extensive experience related to executive development, employee relations, HR operations, learning and development and corporate communications. She holds a BA/History degree from Mundelein College of Loyola Chicago and MA/Journalism degree from New York University. Margaret also serves as officer for the Aon Memorial Education Fund and board member for Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Chicago.
