Mara Ransom JD

Mara L. Ransom is the Office Chief of the Office of Trade & Services in the Division of Corporation Finance at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Ms. Ransom oversees the disclosure review program for the Office, focusing on the disclosure provided by retailers and service-oriented companies. Ms. Ransom joined the Division in 2000. Previously, she served as Assistant Director, Legal Branch Chief and Attorney-Advisor in the Office of Consumer Products and as a Special Counsel in the Office of Mergers and Acquisitions. She earned her B.A. from Boston University and her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law.
