Manish Choudhary is a Principal in Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP’s Valuation practice in New York. Mr. Choudhary has supervised and performed diverse valuation engagements for more than 16 years, involving intangible assets, equipment, facilities and business enterprises. Mr. Choudhary manages and performs valuation studies in a variety of industries including technology, telecommunications, media, consumer business and manufacturing for financial reporting purposes including purchase price allocations, impairment analyses, and portfolio valuations; mergers and acquisition analyses; tax and regulatory compliance; domestic and international structured lease transactions; buy-sell agreements; dispute resolution; bankruptcy re-organizations and strategic financial planning. Mr. Choudhary leads Deloitte FAS’ national program related to the use of internal valuation specialists on audit engagements. As the national program manager, Mr. Choudhary is responsible for developing and managing leading practices to facilitate the collaboration between the firm’s audit teams and the firm’s internal valuation specialists. In this role, Mr. Choudhary works closely with a number of the firm’s audit teams and assists them in evaluating the reasonableness of the client’s fair value estimates. Mr. Choudhary is a frequent speaker on fair value related topics and is currently a member of the Appraisal Foundation’s Working Group that is drafting a paper on Control Premiums.
