Louise Mackie

Louise is a member of the Association of Tax Technicians and specialises in personal and PAYE tax matters.

Louise is responsible for managing a diverse client portfolio, which includes individuals, sole traders and partnerships all with varying different tax needs. Through her work, she is able to deal with the preparation of personal and partnership tax returns through to providing specific tax planning advice to both individuals and businesses.

Louise is Head of our Professional Practices Group. She assists our professional practice firms with their specific tax needs and provides a tailored service to suit the needs of each client. This includes her working with businesses to help put tax planning provisions in place for their partners. By undertaking this work, she helps both the business and the partners from a cashflow perspective and can open up personal tax planning opportunities that were previously not being considered.

In addition to providing a core tax planning service, Louise manages our PAYE and benefits team. Through this advisory work, she can help businesses with their ad hoc employee benefit questions through to carrying out PAYE reviews. Louise can also assist directors in order to put tailored tax efficient remuneration packages in place for themselves.
