Louis Collins Professional Accounting Fellow Office of the Chief Accountant U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Louis Collins joined the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Office of the Chief Accountant as a Professional Accounting Fellow in August 2018. He is a member of the Professional Practice Group and his responsibilities include assisting the Commission in its oversight of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, providing expert advice related to auditing and internal controls, and consulting with the Divisions of Corporate Finance and Enforcement regarding the application of auditing standards. Prior to joining the Commission in August 2018, Mr. Collins was an Audit Senior Manager at KPMG LLP in the Seattle office. Louis received his Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from North Carolina State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Washington.
