Lorraine Venesky JD

Lorraine Venesky is the Chief Operating Office of Cognicion LLC. Prior to Cognicion, Lorraine joined Hunton & Williams as the Deputy Chief Operating Officer of the firm’s Client Solutions Support Center in May 2015. She assumed her current role in May of this year.

Prior to Hunton, Lorraine was a Senior Manager at Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics LLP, and was a leader in the Document Review Services practice within Deloitte Discovery. There, Lorraine assisted corporate clients and law firms manage large scale document review project teams domestically and globally. Lorraine has also consulted with in-house corporate discovery teams to develop and implement electronic discovery best practice playbooks that include vendor selection criteria, process design and implementation, project checklists, the delineation of roles and responsibilities among stakeholder roles, and communications protocols. She has also consulted on the use of text categorization and analytical technology to assist in reducing the cost of document review for complex, large matters, including antitrust Second Requests and FCPA investigations spanning multiple continents and multiple languages.

Lorraine has extensive legal process outsourcing experience, including business analysis for process improvement, project scope design, and budgeting and resources allocation. She has provided consulting services to public and private companies in various industries including energy and natural resources, financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, pharmaceutical and manufacturing. Lorraine is New Jersey certified attorney.
