Lori Chambers is the Manager of Investigations at the British Columbia Securities Commission. Lori has over 15 years of experience conducting and leading criminal and regulatory investigations, including investigations involving securities fraud, Ponzi schemes, insider trading, and market manipulations. Lori has extensive experience in managing major cases, analyzing complex financial transactions, conducting covert operations, seizing and returning ill-gotten gains, interviewing and interrogating, executing search warrants, and evidence handling. She liaises with other enforcement agencies both nationally and internationally, and sits on a number of inter-agency panels including the CSA Enforcement Committee, and IMET’S Joint Consultative Group. Prior to joining the BCSC, Lori was an investigator at the Investment Dealers Association (now IIROC) and the Vancouver Stock Exchange. Lori received her Chartered Accountant designation in 1996 while working at KPMG and subsequently obtained her Investigative and Forensic Accounting Specialization through the CICA Alliance for Excellence in Investigative and Forensic Accounting.
