Laurie’s background as a risk management professional with extensive experience in process improvement, internal controls, information technology and data analytics across a wide variety of industries makes her uniquely qualified as a speaker. After participating as a key team member on the SOX404 compliance implementation project for a Fortune 100 company, Laurie established and for many years led the risk management practice for the New York office of a large international accounting firm. Laurie currently serves as the Director of Internal Audit for The Intrepid Sea Air and Space Museum.
