Lacey Elberg is Senior Counsel & Assistant Corporate Secretary at Johnson & Johnson. Her responsibilities include providing legal counsel to the corporation on matters of public company disclosure, securities regulation, corporate governance, and Dodd-Frank Act and Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance. Since 2011, Ms. Elberg has also served as the legal representative on Johnson & Johnson’s cross-functional conflict minerals governance team. Ms. Elberg joined Johnson & Johnson in 2007 as Senior Counsel in the Law Department’s Business Development Group, and in that role, advised on numerous transactions for the Pharmaceuticals business. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Ms. Elberg was an associate at the law firm of Ropes & Gray LLP, practicing in the New York and Boston offices of the firm. While in private practice, Ms. Elberg provided legal counsel on leveraged buy-out transactions, fund formations, and to issuers and underwriters on securities offerings.Ms. Elberg received a Bachelor of Science degree in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis and her Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School.
