Current Responsibilities
Kim is responsible for internal and external reporting across the Trinity Health including consolidated financial statements and statistics, annual audited financial statements and quarterly reporting to bondholders. Kim heads up the financial reporting team that provides in-house research for accounting and reporting issues under U.S. generally accepted accounting principle as well as application of the research matters. She also heads up the Finance Applications team responsible for Trinity's PeopleSoft ERP system. Kim is a liaison with our Organizational and Talent Effectiveness team on many retirement plan and benefit plan related matters including management of the finance aspects of Trinity Health’s defined benefit pension, retiree medical plans, defined contribution plans and health plans. Over the past few years, Kim and her team have spent a significant amount of time developing reporting standards related to changes in the health care industry related to population health including such things as ACOs, MSSPs, and bundle payment programs.

Prior Experience
Kim has over 25 years of health care industry experience with starting with the legacy Mercy Health Services Corporation where she started as a senior financial reporting analyst, serving in levels of increasing responsibility. Prior to joining Trinity Health Kim spent five years with Arthur Andersen’s Detroit office in their audit division.

Education, Awards and Professional Affiliations
Kim earned her bachelors degree from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor with high distinction, concentrating in accounting and human resources. Kim is a member of the AICPA and HFMA and sits on HFMA's Large System Controllers Council.
