Kevin Henson
Vice President - Strategy
Kevin Henson is VP of Strategy for the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants.
Kevin’s team operates from three global hubs (Durham, London and Kuala Lumpur) and serves the Association in three distinct ways: 1) it acts as an internal strategy consulting arm, working to develop and monitor the strategic plans, conduct enterprise risk management and other special projects as directed by our Senior Leadership Team; 2) it drives business foresight, enabling predictive and prescriptive modeling based on member and customer actions, ensures good data governance and availability of actionable information across the Association; and 3) provides competitive and market insights, allowing our executives to make informed decisions based on competitive actions in the market place and feedback from our members, customers and potential customers.
Previously, Kevin was the CEO of Prometheus Consulting Group. He worked at two Fortune 500 companies prior to Prometheus, Harris Corporation and The Boeing Company. In both instances Kevin held roles of increasing responsibility in both finance and strategy functions. Those positions included growth initiative incubation, CFO and corporate development (M&A, equity investments, divestitures, etc.)
Kevin holds B.A. degrees in Political Science and Economics from the University of Kentucky, and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine. He has also completed executive education programs at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and the Darden School at the University of Virginia.
Kevin lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, and has two children, Roslyn and Cameron.
