Kevin Davenport is Treasurer and Director of Treasury Services at Virginia Commonwealth University. Kevin has over 20 years of experience in higher education finance and joined the University in May 2004. His primary responsibilities include oversight over debt and short-term investments, cash management, and treasury operations. He also serves as Treasurer for two of the University’s affiliated foundations. Kevin is directly responsible for administering and overseeing the day-to-day aspects of the University’s Bond Compliance Program. He is a licensed CPA in Virginia and has earned a BS in accounting from Hampton University, an MBA from the College of William and Mary, and an Ed.S in higher education administration from George Washington University. Kevin is a member of the programming committee for the Tax Exempt Bond Compliance Workshop and a member of the Commonwealth Association of Financial Professionals.
