Kathy joined the Archdiocese of Washington as a part-time consultant in November 2003. Prior to joining the Archdiocese, she was a partner with KPMG LLP, an international certified public accounting firm. She spent 28 years in public accounting auditing various types of corporations including banks, real estate companies, colleges and universities and many not-for-profit organizations. She was the lead partner on the Archdiocese of Washington and its affiliated corporations. Kathy has been a frequent speaker at venues such as the Diocesan Fiscal Managers Conference, FADICA Givers Symposium, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Not-for Profit Conference and the Greater Washington Society of CPA’s Not-for-Profit Symposium. Kathy is active in the community where she serves on the Board of Directors or Board Committees for the following organizations: American Institutes for Research, Diocese of Arlington, Nonprofit Roundtable, City First Bank, Franciscan Monastery, Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital, and Catholic Charities USA. Kathy and her husband, Rich, have 4 children, Chris, Jackie, Ashley and Thomas.
