Kathy Lockhart is vice president and controller of Noodles & Company. Noodles is a publicly traded company (NDLS) and has revenues of more than $300 million with 343 company owned and 67 franchised restaurants in 31 states. Ms. Lockhart leads a team of accountants and analysts responsible for financial reporting, risk management and compliance, tax and treasury. She joined Noodles in August
2006. Prior to joining Noodles, Ms. Lockhart served as the vice president and controller of several public and private restaurant and retail companies, including Einstein/Noah Restaurant Group, Boston Market and VICORP (parent company of Village Inn and Bakers Square restaurants), Ultimate Electronics and Pace Membership Warehouse. She has been recognized for her ability to identify continuous change to reduce cost, enhance quality, and provide valuable insight for operational improvements. She consistently employs an energized, can do management style utilizing financial knowledge, organizational skills, vision and tenacity.
She graduated from Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado in 1986 with a B.A. degree in Business Administration/Political Science. She was recognized as an Academic All American in Basketball for two seasons. She is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of CPA’s. Ms. Lockhart and her husband have two children and she spends time lending her financial expertise to many not for profit organizations.
