Kate Fulton, Managing Director, is a member of the BlackRock's Government Relations and Public Policy Group.
Prior to joining BlackRock in 2011, Ms. Fulton was Senior Vice President of Government Relations and Public Policy for H&R Block, leading the company's legislative initiatives at the state and federal level. She joined H&R Block from Barclays Capital where she was the Director of Government Relations and Public Policy. Prior to Barclays, Kate was the director of government relations for GE Capital in Washington. She also served as Director of the Office of Legislative Affairs at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Prior to joining the SEC, Kate was a Vice President in the government relations group of Morgan Stanley in New York. Ms. Fulton earned a BA degree, magna cum laude, in political science from Amherst College in 1983.
