Karen Wong

Karen Wong is a Partner at Ernst & Young LLP with over 16 years of professional experience in the Financial Services industry and is based in New York. Her global perspective is shaped by her extensive experience working in major financial hubs, including previously in London and Hong Kong.

Her focus is on delivering services to banking and investment banking clients across front, middle and back office processes to meet the strategic needs of CFOs. Karen's expertise spans a variety of areas in accounting and regulatory driven changes, finance and operational processes optimization, systems implementation, and SOX internal controls enhancement and remediation.

Karen has led major transformational projects in accounting, operations and financial reporting, with a particular emphasis on complex financial instruments such as securities, loans, derivatives, and private credit investments. She has been assisting banks worldwide to refine their business models and streamline their processes, data and systems to achieve more effective, efficient and sustainable outcomes.

Karen holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Michigan State University. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in New York and a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).
