Karen Lee is the Lead for Open Government issues at the Office of Federal Financial Management at the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). Prior to her tenure as Open Government Lead, Ms. Lee was a commercial litigator at Kirkland & Ellis, LLP, in Washington, D.C. She also served as a policy analyst at OMB’s Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, overseeing homeland security, labor, and education regulatory policy.
Ms. Lee received a Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University, a Masters in Public Affairs from the Lyndon B. Johnson School at the University of Texas at Austin, and her Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University. She is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia and New York.
