I am a Chartered Accountant having more than 35 years experience in public practice as Senior Partner of Khimji Kunverji & Co., Chartered Accountants. I am Chairperson of Audit Advisory Committee (AAC) of United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), New York & member of Independent Management Advisory Committee (IMAC) of International Telecommunication Union (ITU), Geneva, member of Audit Committee of World Metrological Organization (WMO). I have served as Chairperson and member of the External Audit Committee (EAC) of International Monetary Fund (IMF), Washington DC and Audit Advisory Committee (AAC) of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), New York. I have held the office of the President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), New Delhi, a statutory body formed under the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949. I was also the President of Confederation of Asian & Pacific Accountants (CAPA). I have served as a member on the Board of International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), New York. I serve on Boards of several Public Companies. I have worked in several Committees set up by Government of India & Regulators. I was a Steering Committee member of the United Nations to recommend a comprehensive review of Governance & Oversight of the United Nations, its funds & Programme and specialized agencies
