Kam Karamshahi CPA, CGMA, CITP

Kamyar ‘Kam’ Karamshahi, CPA, CITP, is a Managing Director at Rise Consulting Group in La Jolla, CA where he leads the financial operations activities. He has over 10 years of diverse financial, audit, tax, information technology and business consulting experience. Previously, Kam served as an Audit Manager at CohnReznick LLP as well as Financial Controller of a number of entities in both the for-profit and non-profit arenas. During his time in public accounting, Kam’s client base consisted of private, for profit entities in the manufacturing, retail, service and real estate industries ranging in revenues from $100,000 to $700 Million. At his current position at Rise Consulting Group, he focuses on helping smaller to mid-size businesses maximize their growth and profitability by providing outsourced financial and operational support. Kam is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and besides being a licensed CPA, he is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) as well as a Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP).

Kam is a native of Western Massachusetts and received his Bachelor of Business Administration, Majoring in Accounting as well as Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts.
