Julie A. Bellemare CFF,CPA, CA, CA-IFA, CAMS

Julie is a manager within the Forensic team in MNP’s Montreal office. Julie joined the Forensic team from one of the big four firm’s where she worked in the Assurance and Advisory practice and in the Forensic and Dispute services. She has participated in audits and forensic investigations in Canada, the United States and Barbados. She worked on various assignments for clients in the public sector and crown corporations and also for organizations specialized in manufacturing, real estate, investment funds, and non-profit organizations. She also participated in fraud investigations and litigation files. Julie has participated to investigations relating to alleged construction fraud and corruption/bribery. She has reviewed contract attribution processes and construction project costs allocation as well as analyzed costs and supporting evidence to determine whether fraud schemes and/or false invoicing occurred. Julie obtained a Bachelor of Business administration with Honors from Bishop’s University in 2007. She also holds a diploma in Public Accountancy from McGill University and a CPA, CA designation (Chartered Professional Accountant). She graduated from the Diploma in Investigative and Forensic Accounting of the University of Toronto in 2014. Julie also holds the CFF (Certified in Financial Forensics) and the CAMS (Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist) credentials.
