Julie has served as the National Tax Services (NTS) Market Tax Leader responsible for the strategy and operations of the national tax practice. She also led the Washington National Tax Services Mergers & Acquisitions practice and as a transactions group partner she consults on federal taxation issues involving corporations and their shareholders and was elected to the PwC Board effective 7/1/2023.
Julie has 29 years of tax experience consulting with clients across a spectrum of federal taxation matters for corporations and their shareholders. Her specialties include: (i) Structuring and executing mergers and acquisitions for multinational corporations and consolidated groups; (ii) Structuring public and private company taxable and tax free divesture transactions; (iii) Tax planning for financially troubled corporations including tax attribute management and debt workout planning; (iv) Preparation and review of E&P and stock basis studies; (v) Preparing tax memos, opinions and private letter ruling requests.
