Ms. Davis is on the Executive Committee of the American College of Family Trial Lawyers and a Fellow with the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She has been a Fellow with the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (“AAML”) since 1993 and is currently a Vice President. She is a past president of the North Carolina Chapter of the AAML. Ms. Davis served as chair of the Family Law Council of the North Carolina Bar Association and on the Board of Governors of the North Carolina Bar Association and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. Ms. Davis is an experienced arbitrator and mediator certified by both the AAML and the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission. She has held faculty positions with the ABA Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute and is an adjunct professor of family law at Wake Forest University Law School. Ms. Davis has been a speaker and course planner on numerous occasions in matrimonial law and trial law. She has lectured and written extensively on these topics and has published numerous manuscripts, including with the ABA Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute and Wake Forest University Law School, where she graduated in 19
