Joseph J. Wielebinski JD

Joe Wielebinski is a shareholder at Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. and has served as the Chairman of its Insolvency, Restructuring, and Creditors' Rights group for more than 10 years. His practice has concentrated on bankruptcy, creditors' rights and financial restructuring for over 30 years and he is active throughout the United States in a variety of complex restructuring, insolvency and bankruptcy cases. As part of the Firm's Fraud and Asset Recovery group, Joe has represented numerous victims in matters involving complex financial fraud, theft, money laundering and other white collar crimes. Joe has served as Federal District Court Receiver at the request of the SEC in cases involving national and cross-border fraud schemes. He also represented (as Texas counsel) the Joint Liquidators of the Stanford International Bank liquidation proceeding. Joe also represented the SEC Receiver appointed in a proceeding commenced by the SEC involving 63 separate defendants in connection with an alleged oil and gas Ponzi scheme involving in excess of $700 million raised from over 8,000 investors. Joe is the Executive Director Emeritus of ICC-FraudNet, a London based network of lawyers throughout the world who specialize in offshore asset identification and recovery. He is also a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, Past President of the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section of the Dallas Bar Association, Creditors' Rights and Insolvency Section of the International Bar Association, Bankruptcy Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, Past President of the Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter and Former National Board of Directors Member of the Turnaround Management Association.
