Jose Antunes

Jose is the Director of Operations for the Red Bank office at WithumSmith+Brown. He has over 15 years of professional experience in both the public and private sectors with expertise in all phases of accounting, including operations. He assists the firm in its internal technology efforts by researching, testing and then implementing the various software’s and applications used firm-wide. Has also been responsible for staff training in the use of software applications and procedures.

Jose is also a member of Withum’s start up and emerging growth technology group and offers a broad base of client experience, having worked extensively with software developers, resellers, systems/network integration firms, e-business companies, technology manufacturers and interactive media, as well as service providers to the technology industry. In addition Jose is part of the firm’s Advisory group where he assists clients with project management.

Jose has been a speaker several times for the NJCPA and AICPA speaking on various technology related topics used at accounting firms throughout the country and world.

He is a member of the NJCPA society and of the Information Management and Technology Assurance of the AICPA. He also sits on various advisory boards for several of the firm’s accounting software vendors. In addition, he is a Member of the NJ Chapter Board of Directors for the March of Dimes and was the past NJ State Treasurer for the organization.
