Jonathan Perdue is a Professional Accounting Fellow in the Office of the Chief Accountant at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in Washington, D.C. Jonathan's responsibilities include following the activities of international and U.S. accounting standard setters and working with securities regulators around the world on the development of international financial reporting standards and other initiatives to promote investor protection and confidence in the global capital markets. Jonathan also consults with registrants, auditors and the SEC's Division of Corporation Finance regarding the application of accounting standards and financial disclosure requirements. Prior to joining the SEC, Jonathan was a Senior Manager at BDO USA in the firm's assurance and professional practice.

Jonathan received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Accounting from Saint Louis University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Texas.
