Jonathan M. Dunitz is Counsel with the Portland, ME law firm of Verrill Dana and is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts of Maine and the United States First Circuit Court of Appeals. He practices in the areas of complex commercial and business litigation, insurance coverage, complex family law matters, and appellate advocacy. Jonathan’s practice also includes providing counsel for excluding (or avoiding the exclusion) of financial experts, a topic on which he has written and spoken extensively. Jonathan is a co-editor and contributing author for The Comprehensive Guide to Lost Profits and Other Commercial Damages. He is a 1988 graduate of Ithaca College and a 1993 magna cum laude graduate of the Syracuse University College of Law where he was Lead Articles Editor of the Syracuse Law Review. He is also an accomplished photographer (his work can be viewed at www.jmdunitzstudios.com), a talent that he lends to Maine Greyhound Placement Services at the insistence of his own retired greyhound, Jasper.
