John Tutwiler

John Tutwiler is a senior manager in the Accounting Policy group at TIAA-CREF. He provides technical consultative support to TIAA-CREF's benefit plan reporting team in addition to evaluating technical issues and developing accounting policies for TIAA-CREF. John began his career with Ernst and Young serving principally clients in the financial services industry. After a stint in internal audit with a multi-national pharmaceutical company, John led the SEC and regulatory reporting team at a regional publicly traded brokerage firm. John received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.B.A from Tulane University.
