John Trieu

As the Managing Director of Holman Growth Ventures, John leads the investment group. Since he co-founded the investment group with Bill Cariss in 2019, his team has been delivering strong financial and strategic returns for Holman. Those investments have led to new efforts in electrification of vehicles, supply chain and robotics. He is also a member of the Holman Growth Ventures investment committee along with having served as a board member for portfolio companies. Prior to Holman, John led a team at LBC Credit Partners managing an investment portfolio in excess of $1 billion. Prior to LBC, he was at PNC Bank's Steel City Capital division, where he served in a variety of roles, including as head of the Equity Sponsors Group. Before PNC Bank, John was at Cerberus Capital Management, where he worked on distressed and private equity transactions.

John earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He has served as a board observer at Arkestro and Orbee, as well as a member of several non-profit boards.
