John Tira

John Tira is a Senior Managing Director at Green Flash Forensics with over 15 years of experience in forensic accounting and dispute advisory services. He advises law firms, companies, and government entities on complex accounting issues, financial disputes, and post-acquisition M&A matters. John has led investigations involving financial reporting, asset misappropriation, and accounting irregularities, and frequently serves as an expert in litigation and arbitration.

He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in California, Illinois, and Nevada, and holds the CFF and CFE credentials. John serves on the AICPA Forensic & Valuation Conference Committee and CalCPA’s Forensic Services Section Steering Committee. He is Chair of the CalCPA Fraud and Forensics Conference and was named the AICPA’s Forensic Accounting Volunteer of the Year in 2022. He also serves on the board of the Turnaround Management Association (Northern California Chapter) and is a past member of the Law360 White Collar Editorial Advisory Board.
